Peace of Cake
This week’s assignment is to identify a clutter issue that disrupt’s the household peace and make a plan to address the problem:
- Start by answering any one of these questions that resonates with you:
- What specific clutter is driving you crazy—or worse, driving your partner crazy?
- What makes you mad as soon as you see it?
- What makes you want to immediately start yelling at your partner?
- What areas make you want to stick your fingers in your ears, hyperventilate, and yell “lalalalalalalalala”?
- What areas make you want to cry?
- (These are all different ways of asking: What about your home is making you crazy, cranky, anxious, angry, or sad?)
- If the issue involve another person, have a gentle, compassionate conversation to get their input on the problem.
- Schedule an appointment with yourself to take action on the trouble spot you identified.

I’m a YouTube follower, and so glad to have your moral support while fighting the battle. Not sure how you would like my idea, but I would love to hear you do a program about the increasing concerns about our economy + whatever other factors may lead to worries & stockpiling. Having lived in Texas during the power outage, I’m thinking you may have some sympathy for those who are “prepping”.
Yet, having heard enough of your programs, I assume that you won’t have us get too carried away with stockpiling.
Looking forward to hearing your approach.
My Covered storage unit and Carport Makes me soooo MAD!
LaLaLaLa…my phone mute worked this morning as I chanted the LALA…while I Tried a kind conversation with my Property Managers AFTER I opened my storage unit this weekend courageously to clear and donate…then to re organize…
Everything! was ruined, filled with water and mold from the roof leaking.
PMs told me it is MY responsibility for they do not repair them now.
90 days I could make an appointment they would just tear it down yet I still have to pay to dump all the items for they can site me for the pile…
Angry, Mad as hell and lots of tears…Taking action in kindness as this is now my burden yet you all have given me the courage to keep forward motion to clear this troubled spot now added into my life. MarshMellow
P.S. Gayle n Ed and All….I love triple layer double thick milk chocolate cake and frosting by the way!
