The Weekly Tittle is an exercise designed to focus your attention on a specific space, aspect, or challenge of decluttering and organizing your home. We assign a new tittle in each webcast/podcast, then check on your progress the following week.
In No Time Flat
We know this can be a hectic time of year, so we’ve chosen what we hope will be a relatively easy assignment for this week:
- Choose one flat surface in your space that’s collected items that don’t belong there. No surface is too small for this task!
- Remove any trash, recyclable materials, dirty dishes, packaging, or other debris.
- Take anything that belongs somewhere else and put it away. Right now.
- Assess what’s left. Is everything here useful, pleasing to the eye, and appropriate? If not, assign it a new place to live or consider letting it go.

I love your show. Here and on YouTube where I typically hear/watch you. It’s beautiful the way you share. Many great thoughts. I have the beginnings of a hoarder house. It’s getting hard to move. It’s very distressing. My fiancé and I are in our 60s. Just too much. With my ADHD, it’s really difficult. If you ever want to share thoughts for people with true challenges, I’d love to see that.
