The urge to offer hospitality is a fundamental human desire. We have a deep need to open our homes and our lives to family, friends, and acquaintances. The heart of successful entertaining is providing a comfortable and welcoming space within your capabilities, your budget and the present state of your home. But clutter-impaired people often let embarrassment, fear of judgment, and the physical condition of their homes stand in the way of the fun and fulfillment of entertaining.
For the July 2017 meeting of the Houston Clutter Coaching Meetup Group, we’ll talk about comfort levels, entertaining styles, and what our guests want and need from us. We’ll suggest ways to reconcile the conflicting emotions to start entertaining now, even if our spaces are still works in progress.
As usual, we’ll open the floor to your questions, success stories, and tales of trouble spots.
