The Clutter Fairy Weekly extra

Gayle Unscripted: What Do We Really Need? and Other Questions

Her co-host was out sick, so Gayle bravely wrangled the show all by herself with only her native wit and magic wand for support! In this special episode of The Clutter Fairy Weekly, Gayle Goddard, professional organizer and owner of The Clutter Fairy in Houston, Texas, answers audience questions about the nature of “need,” shopping, keepsakes, estate and auction sales, breaking down large projects, and procrastination.

Weekly Tittle

The Weekly Tittle is an exercise designed to focus your attention on a specific space, aspect, or challenge of decluttering and organizing your home. We assign a new tittle in each webcast/podcast, then check on your progress the following week.

One Thing

Since this episode was unplanned and unscripted, this week’s assignment is a very simple one:

  • If you’re struggling with procrastination or having trouble getting started on an organizing task or project, just do one thing. Take one step, however small, to get into motion. Then come join next week’s webcast and tell us how it went.

Thank you to Rowan for suggesting this tittle on the spur of the moment during this week’s show!

Thanks for still having podcast today. Much appreciated. I listen while on train journey of one hour. Last week did brain dump on paper journal then once home one little step getting rid of empty paper accordian folders sitting on empty shelf drawer. Then once removed realised I was using the shelf drawer as hiding what was behind it ! Magic moved empty shelf drawer to wall and put existing boxes in front of it so the boxes are in view . Then actually empty one box hurrah one step at a time. Thanks all best wishes all
