The Weekly Tittle is an exercise designed to focus your attention on a specific space, aspect, or challenge of decluttering and organizing your home. We assign a new tittle in each webcast/podcast, then check on your progress the following week.
Break Down a Barrier
This week’s assignment is to remove something that’s been getting in your way of your progress:
- Pick something you’ve been meaning or wanting to do, but never seem to be able to start.
- Try to identify a “barrier to entry.” What is it about the task or project that prevents you from getting started?
- Spend 10 minutes mind-mapping, doodling, writing, or drawing about what obstacle(s) stand in your way. Giving a name to the barrier might be all you need to start breaking it down to get going on your project or task.
