The Weekly Tittle is an exercise designed to focus your attention on a specific space, aspect, or challenge of decluttering and organizing your home. We assign a new tittle in each webcast/podcast, then check on your progress the following week.
Routine Matters
This week’s assignment is to consider a new or revamped maintenance habit:
- Identify a space or a function of your home in which you struggle to stay ahead of the accumulation of clutter.
- Reflect on what gets in the way of keeping this area under control. What difficulties or limitations do you encounter?
- Consider how much time you’re currently spending on the area or purpose in question. Make a tentative plan based on how much time you think it might take to manage the area effectively (e.g., half an hour a week, 10 minutes three times a week).
- Put your plan into action. Stick to the new routine until you’ve done it for a few weeks (or at least a few times), then adjust the frequency or duration of your work sessions as needed.

Tittle#118…Painful even tho I struggled to maintain my plan into action….OW…My limitations seem generated by the inner screaming that my natural, exceptional characteristics to creatively do my clearing of clutter are somehow Flawed. Like I am flawed somehow and this is not true. I am staying on course tho painful.
