The Weekly Tittle is an exercise designed to focus your attention on a specific space, aspect, or challenge of decluttering and organizing your home. We assign a new tittle in each webcast/podcast, then check on your progress the following week.
A Fresh Start
This week’s assignment is to come up with a plan for tasks to include in your spring-cleaning regimen—and ones to leave out:
- Brainstorm a list of household cleaning or maintenance chores that you’d like to accomplish at least once a year.
- Pick no more than three items from your list. These will serve as your spring-cleaning agenda this year!
- Get out your calendar or planner, and set dates throughout the year to handle the rest of your annual cleaning plan. You might assign one chore per month, or group projects together into plans for the start of each new season.
