Myths and Misconceptions
Describe a popular myth or misconception about clutter or organizing that you believed in the past, but have now come to see as incorrect. Who or what changed your mind about this idea?
Examples:
- “Home organization is only for minimalists and neat freaks.”
- “I can solve all my problems with one trip to the Container Store.”
- “A professional organizer will make me get rid of all my stuff.”

Limiting Beliefs
Describe a limiting belief about clutter or organizing that negatively affects your ability or willingness to address your home organization issues. This may be a belief that you inherited, picked up from popular culture, received from friends or family, or came up with all on your own!
Examples:
- “I will never finish my decluttering project.”
- “I don’t have what it takes to be organized and neat.”
- “My cluttered home is a reflection of my cluttered head.”
