Please select the statement that best describes your future plans with regard to moving:I plan to move within the next year or two.
Describe any thoughts and feelings that the idea of moving invokes for you, or any positive or negative connotations that moving carries. (This might include memories of past moves, plans for future moves, or your experience with someone else’s move that was significant for you.)Moving doesn't phase me as I downsized substantially and moved 2,000 miles to a new state last year. I was at a turning point in my life and relocating was the right move. I'm currently renting and anticipate moving again at some point. Sure, it's a pain to box everything up but I have way less stuff than I used to so it's all good.
Consider the present condition of your home and its contents, and then answer this question: If you had to move from your home in a short timeframe, what would the greatest challenges be?Getting enough boxes without spending a lot on them. Hopefully Freecycle would come through for me.
If money, logistics, work, citizenship, travel time, etc., were no obstacle, where would your ideal place to live be? (For example: Ed would like to live in a penthouse in the heart of Rome with a place in the Alban Hills where he’d go on the weekend. He can dream, can’t he?)I'd be in a highrise apartment overlooking, and listening to, the ocean. Maybe two, one in San Diego with the Pacific and one in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the Atlantic.
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. No question but glad you're back, Ed.
Future topics

Would love to have you touch on what to do when you've moved and your furniture doesn't fit well in the new space. Especially if moving again may be in the relatively near future or simply getting rid of the furniture doesn't really work either. It can be expensive to replace and right now what's in the stores is downright ugly.
