I also have family photos and tintypes, plus a coffin plate. |

But I just can’t get enough time to do the scanning and sorting that needs to be done. I’m giving away what I’m done scanning and entering into my genealogy program, so the stacks aren’t getting larger. |

Talk to the oldest people in your family and find out what they used to do for fun. Ask them who people are in the photos that they have or that you have. You’d be amazed how different their life was than yours has been. |
| Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). | I’ve used the technique for sorting pictures where you turn them upside down and sort by size, edging, developers marks, etc. When you turn them upright, you’ll have them roughly sorted by decade. Are there any other quick methods for roughly sorting pictures by decade or era? |
