What factors do you consider when you’re thinking about giving things away to family members, friends, neighbors, or other people you know?If it is an item I don't need and it is not attached to family or other memories, then giving them away is liberatiing.
If there are memories attached (e.g.. my children's toys that i want my grandchildren to use0 then it does bather me if they don't care for them too. Also faily heirlooms.
What factors do you consider when you’re thinking about donating items to a charity, shelter, or unknown recipient?Hard to find charity to take these items. e.g. where can we donate books?
What is your all-time favorite hand-me-down, cast-off, or regifted item?Children's books and toys. But prefer to give to my family.

1) Discussions relating to living in apartments where EVERY room is a multitasking room.
We don't all live with garages, basements, and attics.
2) List of places and organizations that accept donations, etc. Maybe people in various regions can Share their favorite sources.
