Survey #206 Response from Peggy
What is the “canary in the coal mine” that alerts you that your decluttering and organizing habits are starting to slip? In other words, where does clutter first reappear in your life or your home? | Mainly empty Amazon boxes pile up in the garage while I wait for daughter to agree to a decluttering session. What I order from Amazon isn't the real issue, a lot of it is food related or light bulbs, etc. Also, if I have a busy week, the paperwork can get a little out of hand. |

What external factors (conditions, circumstances, situations, etc.) or internal conditions (moods, emotional states, health concerns, etc.) tend to disrupt your productive habits and routines or your motivation to declutter and organize? | Busy weeks can prevent me from addressing mail adequately. Once my schedule clears, I nag myself (mostly successfully) to get on it. |
What was the last item that you decided to keep “just in case”? | bar of soap meant to scrub stains out of clothing, not super impressed with it but I can't figure out the best way to dispose of it. |
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). | What are peoples best motivations for decluttering and staying at it over time? |
Future topics | maybe asking listeners to list 3 best areas of their home and worst areas of their home (clutterwise) currently? |
