What is the “canary in the coal mine” that alerts you that your decluttering and organizing habits are starting to slip? In other words, where does clutter first reappear in your life or your home?I started a notebook for paper receipts then I lost the notebook so I start to see paper receipts and unopened mail in piles ...
What external factors (conditions, circumstances, situations, etc.) or internal conditions (moods, emotional states, health concerns, etc.) tend to disrupt your productive habits and routines or your motivation to declutter and organize? My "List of Things to Do" is overwhelming. I do prioritize but some items never get done. The external factors are two part time jobs and now its gardening season...
What was the last item that you decided to keep “just in case”?Another winter coat....One for gardening work, one for routine errands outside, one pretty one for work,a light one when its not freezing outside, two for inside the house when I work in the cold basement ......and dont get me started on sweaters .....
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s).I decorated for Christmas and still have Christmas themed decor on my walls ....!!!!! It takes mental energy to look for nice stuff on the walls that will make me happy when I look at it and not feel that I am lagging behind the seasons. How to have your walls help you realize that "TODAY" is a blessing all by itself ?

AND....I feel a sense of panic every time I open my emails ( thousands of emails ) as I am not organized enought and don't prioritize emails that are meant for learning opportunities , things to do, family emails ,and informational . It takes FOREVER to print and file, I think forwarding to folders would work, but that takes time. Any tips would be very helpful......:)

I forgot to THANK YOU!!!!!!! for all your suggestions and topic discussions. It has been amazingly helpful in the clutter struggle, and I'm very grateful.
