PronounsShe/her
Do you consider yourself a "morning person," a "night owl," or somewhere in between?Morning person
What are the trouble spots in your daily routine or your family’s routines? In other words, where do you find your habits and routines breaking down on a regular basis?I have good intentions, procrastinate doing the more difficult things. For example am a month late on sending a high school graduation card. Need to find the right words of how to sign it. lol. Keep house picked up, dishes done, bed made, but resist digging deeper into clutter.
What aspects of your home (the size, the layout, the contents, the organization of those contents, other household members, etc.) either contribute to or detract from your ability to cultivate and execute productive and useful routines?I would say the last one. Seeing the clutter in my place stops me from digging deeper into getting rid of stuff. Creates a viscous circle of defeat.
What daily (or frequent) chore would you like to wave a magic Clutter Fairy wand to remove from your routine?Vacuuming and dusting
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. How to just start? I know plan a day and specific time, work for an hour, maybe even reward yourself if you do. But yet I don’t do it. Feels overwhelming. Don’t like to make the decisions of what to keep or get rid of. Probably would miss little most of the stuff I agonize over, yet I don’t deal with it. It ways me down daily.
