Describe an object, collection, or category of items that you’re keeping even though its value, desirability, and/or usefulness to you has significantly diminished over time.Books. I could order many of them of I ever wanted to have them again (to read or give to a loved one), but I keep worrying that people will shred all the books and therefore, that I should do my little part to save the library of the world by keeping my three bookshelves of books!
Explain your reason or rationale for keeping the thing(s) you described in your answer to the previous question.Aside from keeping books for the next generations, I also really like some of my books and am comforted by them. (But with 550 sq. ft. apartment, they are kind of locking in one corner of my biggest room ~ the living room.)
What’s your favorite thing about summer? And what could you do this week to make more room in your life or your home for your summer fun?I like going out without needing coats and boots. It is nice to just grab a water bottle or bottle of iced tea and my purse and go!
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode.Oh! Every time I come home, I think, "I've got to mention this to Gayle and Ed and everybody!". It is that: I live on the second floor with stairs and I get winded, especially if I have groceries, and I let that shift my mood in a downward direction. Does anybody else do that,, too?
Future topics

I'd love to hear about how not all of us have organizing skills and could therefore benefit greatly from assistance! I think I can remember Gayle mentioning that years and years ago!
