PronounsShe/her
Describe an object, collection, or category of items that you’re keeping even though its value, desirability, and/or usefulness to you has significantly diminished over time.Knick knacks in my entertainment center. Clothes that are too small.
Explain your reason or rationale for keeping the thing(s) you described in your answer to the previous question. The knick knacks represent my earlier life. Places I went with someone and picked up something, or presents from friends or family. Unfortunately most of those people are not in my life now. My Mom has passed away, have separated from friends I used to be close to, boyfriends no longer dating. Most of it just causes sadness now. Eventually I will get rid of most of it except a couple of items, prob the ones that remind me of my Mom. As far as the clothes, I have decided to put a date on the tote they are in. If they don't fit by then, they will be donated. Clothes are expensive and i have a limited budget.I know I should donate them anyway but growing up poor really does effect your thinking bout this.
What’s your favorite thing about summer? And what could you do this week to make more room in your life or your home for your summer fun?Swimming. Unfortunately it has to wait. I don't have transportation right now. Trying new restaurants but I have become a loner.
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. What areas do you both struggle with in regards to clutter? How do you handle it? Ed, are you and your partner on the same wavelength with clutter? What to keep, buy, get rid of? Gayle, since you are moving soon, are you surprised by the amount of stuff you have? Any areas you are struggling to get rid of (not talking bout your beads)? I don't know if you are going to have another roommate, but if so are you concerned how they are when it comes to clutter.
Future topics
