Survey #221 Response from Anonymous user
Describe an item or collection in your home that represents something important about you or your life. The item(s) may be related to your history, your present life, or your dreams, goals, and desires for the future. | My family history |
---|---|
Complete the following statement: “If I had to let go of ___________, it would feel like losing a part of myself.” | Family pictures and memorabilia |
Imagine if a complete stranger walked through your home right now. How might that stranger describe the person or people who live in your space? | The third example is hilarious, but unfortunately for me, it's true. I've been working on it and accomplished a lot of sorting, throwing and shredding, only to discover more. |
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. | How can we organize what needs to be done in a move in order to accept help from others? |
Future topics | How to figure out how and what others can help with for a move when they offer to help. I had several friends offer to help, but I didn't know how to direct them/ what to ask them to do ( I'm use to do everything myself). One friend showed up with dinner, some came and asked if they could pack my kitchen, etc., but I was very little help with suggestions. |
