Describe a popular myth or misconception about clutter or organizing that you believed in the past, but have now come to see as incorrect. Who or what changed your mind about this idea?I thought I'd get decluttered and organized after I retired, but I don't have the energy I used to. Feels overwhelming now when I used to be able to handle so much.
Describe a limiting belief about clutter or organizing that negatively affects your ability or willingness to address your home organization issues. This may be a belief that you inherited, picked up from popular culture, received from friends or family, or came up with all on your own!My efforts aren't making a noticeable dent (spouse is a shopper and a "collector")
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode.Would you consider an episode (or maybe you have already) on what to say and how to (if/when possible) encourage a spouse to stop collecting and saving? Spouse knows our adult children don't want things. I have cleaned out packed homes of older relatives and don't want my children to go through that.
Future topics

Though it's hard to understand in some spots, I still like to listen to "We're not getting any younger", and I the "Psychology of Clutter" episodes. Maybe an update on those topics? Also, I read research re: how clutter affects women vs. men (higher cortisol levels). Additional topic: toys and stuff in general in American homes vs. homes in other parts of the world, and how much harder and longer it takes to clean our very-full spaces.
