Survey #236 Full Response from Brienne
Pronouns | She/her |
---|---|
Describe a collection or category of items in your home that you’re worried might have crossed over into “too many” or “too much.” | Clothing! Especially "dressy clothing" (I usually keep wearing the same couple "dressy" outfits over and over, and even then don't have many opportunities to wear them). |
For the category or collection described above, what factor(s) contribute to your assessment of the stash as excessive? | - Run out of hanger space in my closet - Don't have opportunities to wear my fanciest clothes - Have more "dressy" (but not formal) outfits than I use - too much laundry; it's easy to put off doing laundry when I have tons of outfits, but then I have enough dirty laundry in my laundry bag to clothe an entire marching band, and it gets to be an overwhelming task |
For the category or collection described previously, what would you consider a reasonable limit? Your answer may take the form of a precise number, a volume of space, a budget, a time commitment, or any other metric that makes sense to you. Optional: Explain how you arrived at this answer. | total volume of clothes should fit comfortably (not tightly) on hangers on the clothes rack in my closet, with one storage box for out-of-season clothing |
Describe something that you keep in your space because it reminds you of a better time in your life or a fond memory, even though you might otherwise consider it unnecessary or excessive. | I can't think of anything, but I do have some things I regret getting rid of because they reminded me of a happier time- plush toys, college acceptance letters, playbills from shows I performed in, etc |
