What was your proudest decluttering, organizing, or productivity achievement of 2024? | Getting rid of a stuffed animal I didn't like and that I got as a present for an occasion that I didn't want it for within two months. Yay. |
Name two or three areas of your home, categories of stuff, or collections on which you’d like to focus your attention in 2025. | Paper clutter and small storage room that is a little too full. |
What’s the most powerful affirmation, quotation, or aphorism that you repeat to yourself to unleash inspiration or energy when you’ve set your sights on a challenging goal? | I just can't think of any right now. - That is my answer not an affirmation or anything 😉 |
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. | My question: When I still had cats I got a wonderfully sturdy and really expensive (500€ *gasp*) scratching post with a washable hammock a little house and a top floor, mostly made of solid wood. My last cat died in December 2023 and I have kept this great thing dissembled in my storage room. Since I do have a dog now that does not get along with cats at all (also not with the one that passed away in 2023) I will not have another cat in the near future. I thought if I'd ever get another pet after my dog will have passed away in maybe 10 years, it definetely will be a cat. So I thought I will keep this cat post for that time in the future. But is that really a good idea? It doesn't take up too much space but will it still be good when I will (maybe) use it then? I am confused about this... Future topics | How to comfortably downsize or plan downsizing while not yet having any specific plan to be moving. I would like to prepare in advance because my energy is very limited and I would like to do small bits in advance. |
