How often are you troubled by clutter in the kitchen and/or pantry? It’s an occasional problem.
What sources of clutter or specific issues do you experience in the kitchen or pantry?European here. A few years ago there were warnings about a huge possible blackout and many people stocked up on canned food. Now most of it is almost expired. I put in on the counters so we don't forget about it but it's probably just too much and husband doesn't like to eat lentils and beans every day 😀
What organizing solutions or strategies have you tried or used in the kitchen, and how have they worked—or failed to work—for you?just stick to the obvious rules: Expired food has to go. Tupperware without lids or lids without a bowl have to go. If it's gross or broken it has to go. If I tried it once and have not intention to use it again it has to go. Don't keep paper in the kitchen.
I think the kitchen is easier to declutter than other rooms because the stuff in there is more about utility than sentimentality (at least for someone like me who doesn't like to cook)
What “one-trick pony” resides in your kitchen or pantry? Why do you keep it?lemon squeezer - I used to buy fresh lemons to add lemon juice to my sparkling water but often the lemons sat there until they became moldy. Now I buy bottled lemon juice and don't need the lemon squeezer anymore (but I keep it anyway, just in case ;D )
