How often are you troubled by clutter in the kitchen and/or pantry? My kitchen usually has some clutter.
What sources of clutter or specific issues do you experience in the kitchen or pantry? With only 60 inches of countertop working space, I have successfully eliminated everything on the counter that is not essential (including the electric kettle) and have introduced routines that keep the countertops ok.
Main problem that remains: Finding a successful routine in deep cleaning the kitchen/ keeping the kitchen drawers and cabinets clean despite having glass jars to store everything etc.
European kitchen = food storage/ pantry is part of the kitchen (cabinets) not seperated.
What organizing solutions or strategies have you tried or used in the kitchen, and how have they worked—or failed to work—for you?Making sure to go to bed with all dishes done and surfaces empty.
While the kettle runs in the morning, I put away all the dishes that have dried overnight and I do a clean up after lunch so that things don't pile up in the evening.
And cleaning up while cooking/ baking filling "empty" time in the cooking/ baking process.

And everything has a home, and we have pull out drawers not shelves. this also helps A LOT.
What “one-trick pony” resides in your kitchen or pantry? Why do you keep it?I am a gadget girl, that's for sure and lo2 piemakers ve my baking tins ....
My household comprises 6 waffles irons ;-))), for Belgium, German, US-style and icecream cone waffles and ;-))) but they get used and are stored outside the very valuable kitchen space.
"One-trick-ponies" have been reduced and/ or are stored somewhere else.
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode.I am really wondering how often people deepclean their kitchens and/ or their cupboard surfaces.
Asking friends hasn't really generated any useable answer.
Is there any statistics about this within your professional community?

And what routines have proven to be useful to ensure the kitchen is always clean - inside and out.
I have tried to devide the kitchen into elements for weekly cleaning but didn't succeed in keeping it up as I don't really have a weekly cleaning routine. Maybe this is the culpit? ;-)))

Thanks for your wonderful series and services and have a great 2025! BR Isabelle
