How often are you troubled by clutter in the kitchen and/or pantry? It’s an occasional problem.
What sources of clutter or specific issues do you experience in the kitchen or pantry? Our countertop and table collect clutter such as books, otc meds, reminder notes, things to take with us to the city, etc.

Mine are in a basket but spouse wants his in plain sight and within reach at the table for easy access and as a reminder. The top of the fridge is too far away and not accessible.

We have no entry or drop zone just inside the door, but we’re really good about putting everything else away.
What organizing solutions or strategies have you tried or used in the kitchen, and how have they worked—or failed to work—for you?Pretty baskets work for me and my “ command centre “ is in a cupboard out of sight.

I’ve tried both of these ideas for his things, but then they get put on the counter beside the basket or cupboard.

We can’t put things on top of the fridge or on the front. The hallway is too narrow for a shelf or table. Medicine cabinet is on another floor.
What “one-trick pony” resides in your kitchen or pantry? Why do you keep it?I have a small hand mixer that isn’t used because I don’t bake anymore, but I have room for it and it’s my only mixer.
