How often are you troubled by clutter in the kitchen and/or pantry?Infrequently or never.
What sources of clutter or specific issues do you experience in the kitchen or pantry?Lots of cupboard space but the available space is hard to reach as the cupboards go a long way back so only good for stuff that is not used often. I now find that space unusable really and move stuff to the front so it is easy to reach. A kitchen reno would fix this of course but why pay out extra money.
What organizing solutions or strategies have you tried or used in the kitchen, and how have they worked—or failed to work—for you?I am finding using space easy to reach works and rotate stock. I do not have a store cupboard with too much reserve stock. I find a free standing pantry cupboard ideal nowdays.
What “one-trick pony” resides in your kitchen or pantry? Why do you keep it?Hand held kitchen mixer. Used maybe a couple of times a year but able to keep it because it can be easily reached and there is space for it.
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. What do you think is the new trend in kitchen renovations?

In the past people were still able to produce splendid meals in very little space. There are a few local cafes we know that have a vast array on their menus and fit a few staff in so well chosen cooking implements, placement
Of utensils and appropriate storage work. One cafe uses storage under seating to streamline their neat and tidy look. Another uses lock down moveable seating which I think an excellent idea to configure kitchen dining areas to accommodate a changeable look.
Future topics

The advantages and disadvantages of storage furniture.

For example do some listeners favour using a pantry cupboard for storage of food items on some shelves, chemist supplies on another and paperwork on other shelves.
Storing books in an enclosed pantry style cupboard or toy box keeps them dust free.

Or open plan bookcases that are adaptable for books and ornaments?
