How often are you troubled by clutter in the kitchen and/or pantry? | My kitchen usually has some clutter. |
What sources of clutter or specific issues do you experience in the kitchen or pantry? | I don’t like throwing away a jar or bottle that has some product still in it. Overall though my kitchen is the easiest to maintain as I am not emotionally attached to much in there…so clutter isn’t an issue. I don’t like cooking so everything is quite basic. |
What organizing solutions or strategies have you tried or used in the kitchen, and how have they worked—or failed to work—for you? | I have a plastic set of draws in the cupboard space to put veg and pasta. As I lost a big area of pantry space when they put our new boiler in. Our kitchen is a very small galley shaped area. |
What “one-trick pony” resides in your kitchen or pantry? Why do you keep it? | On a shelf we have my husbands Tassimo tea/ coffee machine and his veg spiralissa. Last used several years ago but they are his so they’re there to stay😕. |
Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. | Main issue this year is the growing ironing pile, I have clothes ready to get ironed in the bedroom, under the stairs (where I keep the clothes baskets) and they even creep into the spare bedroom. I hate cooking and I hate ironing!!! I think it’s because as soon as you do either they get used up straight away and have to be repeated. Other household chores results last a few days so you can appreciate them . |
