Here’s your chance to ask Gayle and Ed any question you’re curious about. It need not be related to this survey’s topic(s). If we think that your question—and our answer—might be useful or instructive to The Clutter Fairy Weekly audience, we’ll share them in an upcoming episode. | My husband passed 18 months ago. I passed on his clothes to people who could use them. He had 3 nice watches, I passed them on to people that would wear them and remember Bob. Pictures and military items to my stepson. I was married after he retired and those items were his son's memories not mine. I kept pictures of us traveling and our wedding. He is in my heart and not in certain objects. So they were passed on. The one thing I haven't given away just yet is a sign the says, this is our happy place. Bob had medical problems so our condo was his happy place. Maybe you and Ed can talk about after a death, because a death is different than a divorce. I have been divorced before Bob, believe me there is a difference! |
Future topics | Letting people know, letting go is ok. Ask, If one could take an object to heaven what would that be. Then why do they keep all the other stuff they wouldn't think to take. I would bring my favorite wedding picture. |
