If you shop in thrift stores, resale shops, charity stores, pawn shops, or other sources of second-hand goods, what kinds of things do you look for? Are there any categories of items that you would ONLY buy used? Any categories of items that you would NEVER buy used? One thrift store occasionally where I check out the cookbooks, novels, furniture when they used to carry it (rocking chairs, coffee tables,…), petite or customer-hemmed jeans, capris, or tops, occasionally puzzles (though I don’t think I trust too much after the last ones I bought together - frustrating when a mystery puzzle is missing up to 22 pieces😠 and the price is high for a used item), a peek at stuffies (I’ve bought about 3 in past 8 years for my dog), pet items, occasionally men’s clothing, photo frames, a quick scan of kitchen items.

The books have to be in very good condition without odours (smoke, musty, dusty) or stains.
I would never buy underwear or ladies swimwear.
Actually, everything has to be in very good condition.
I would never buy items that absolutely look like they should have been binned.
If you’ve ever completed a major decluttering project, have you experienced re-cluttering anxiety afterwards? Please describe your experience and how you’ve tried to manage this feeling. No as I accept there are some areas I will re-clutter.
How often do you deep-clean your kitchen, going above and beyond whatever daily or several-time-a-week routines you maintain?Never
What routines or habits have been useful to ensure that your kitchen is always clean?Hehe. It helps to do dishes daily and to wash counter tops before meal prep and when doing dishes, and also always wiping spills immediately. I also spot lean areas when I notice they need attention.
